Panzer IV Asuf H

Panzer IV Asuf H

The Panzer IV was a German medium tank used during World War Two. It was first produced during the mid to late 1930s. The early models mounted a short 75mm gun. It was mainly used for infantry support while the Panzer III was used for anti-tank duties.

That changed when in 1942 white the growing numbers of Shermans and T-34/76 medium tank the panzer III was not good enough to deal with them. So the Panzer IV Asuf F was upturned with a long 75mm gun and it was called the Panzer IV AsuF F2.

When the Russians started to use HEAT ammunition the Germans put spaced armor on their tanks.
